Something that concerns basically everyone today is their finances. How they will face the upcoming monthly payments of rent, electricity, water, etc. For too many people, money has become a god in their lives. They can't get their minds off of the thought of wishing they had more.

“Don’t ever worry and say, ‘What are we going to eat?’ or ‘What are we going to drink?’ or ‘What are we going to wear?’ Everyone is concerned about these things, and your heavenly Father certainly knows you need all of them. But first, be concerned about his kingdom and what has his approval. Then all these things will be provided for you. "

~Matthew 6:31-33

My God will richly fill your every need in a glorious way through Christ Yeshua.

~Philippians 4:19

When people don't have the amount of money they would like, they give themselves away to worrying, stress and often times of depression. Most times we lose faith in the Lord and neglect His help in our situations because things aren't changing fast enough or going the way we would like.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding

~Proverbs 3:5

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways",declares the Lord "as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts"

~Isaiah 55:8-9

Although this world will bring hardship and pain, that is not an excuse to walk away and give up on the Lord. Through the trials God has a plan/lesson to show or teach you if you let Him take control and submit to His will. We need to learn not to give into the worries the world puts on us. We need to stand and fight the spiritual fight that is going on within us. The devil sends many temptations to lure us into his trap to distract and lead us away from the Father's will. Man likes to think "if I just have this amount of money, than I'll be happy", little do they know that in the end it will be worth nothing and it never filled the whole in their heart.

For the love of money is the root of all evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs

~1 Timothy 6:10

If we let the love of money consume us and we become wealthy from doing what the world wants rather than what God wants, our hearts become harden. We'll begin to think "well what's the point in God if I already have all I want?"

Now listen, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on a business and make money." Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes

~James 4:14

Do you see? We are only here for a very short amount of time compared to eternity. Do not waste your time stressing about this life which will be gone before you know it. Turn your focus on the life after this and what you can do while your here to enter in the kingdom of heaven.

"Do not store up for yourself treasure on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in to steal. But store up for yourself treasure in heaven where moth and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break into steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

~Matthew 6:19-21
